Trump Declines To Promise Peaceful Transfer Of Power After Election


Man, I bet slippery slope so called constitutionalist is gonna be upset about this
 
Yes I saw the headline and knew that it was totally irresponsible to say and dangerous. Media running wild with it.

Then I watched the video and understood that he is clearly is implying that if there is no ballot fraud, there will be no need for a transfer because he will win the election.

I know it's more fun to be outraged though...
 
Similarly, I watched the video of HRC imploring Joe Biden not to concede election under and circumstances... and there is no other way to i turret that than what was said.

Trump's answer was that if there's no fraud (ballot statement) there won't be a transfer of power. Meh... and why put the "win" and "draw" in there? Why would trump say, yeah, I'll transfer out even if I lose?

Its poorly worded from orange man but his implication is clear.

hopefully very poorly chosen one will clear up any ambiguity and state clearly that he will accept the will of the people in the event they vote him out of office...it can't be that hard to issue a clarification...i would imagine even he is capable of seeing that there can be no ambiguity on this point

It's a layup question and he went bat**** crazy with it. His head is so far up his own ass he cant even fathom he would lose. The only metric he will use to decide if the election is legitimate is if he wins. It's not like his verbal committal now means anything when the time comes.

Since I play amateur psychoanalyst on the internet, I will offer my free take. What we have been seeing is a weak man with an ego that is too fragile to contemplate the likelihood he is going to get fired by the American people on November 3. Personally, I think he is too weak and idiotic to be a threat to our democracy. I worry more about some of his chucklehead supporters.

I find it interesting that the Democrats are up in arms that trump hasn't committed to accept the results of the upcoming election, while the democrats still haven't accepted the results of the 2016 election.
