Cincinnati Reds (30-29)

Potential seeds: 5, 6 or 7

• If they win, the Marlins lose and the Cardinals lose: No. 5 seed

• If they win, the Marlins win and the Cardinals lose: No. 6 seed

• If they lose, the Cardinals lose and the Giants lose: No. 6 seed

• If they lose, the Cardinals lose, the Giants win and the Cardinals lose both doubleheader games: No. 6 seed

• All other scenarios: No. 7 seed
 
Would the braves leave ender off of the postseason roster? Probably not with Acuna hurt and no other cf option.

They will carry 3 catchers. I’d carry Contreras over Jackson. I assume they carry Jackson.

If I’m them I’m not carrying ender and I’m adding another reliever given our pitching situation.
 
Ender should be on the roster. He’s a good defender still. Better than Markakis and Duvall and also has speed so he could be a pinch runner late in games.

I'd rather leave Markakis off—he's much more useless. But they won't do that.

Based on his sprint speed he is not fast. Watching games he is a bad base runner.

Only value is a defensive replacement or Ronnie injury.

I was referring to Ender’s defense.
Reading it now I can see that it wasn’t that clear what I was saying.

Bauer, Gray and Castillo are more stuff guys than junk ballers and they are around the plate. Probably better for the Braves hitters especially if Acuna is healthy.

Wouldn't be surprised! But in all seriousness. This is the worst possible opponent we could have hoped for aside from the Dodgers. Expecting a Braves loss in typical fashion, and will be pleasantly surprised otherwise.
 
Only the Braves could get the 2 seed and draw the best 1-2-3 in baseball. Would be pleasantly shocked if we win this series.
