My friends thoughts on the debate after seeing him not condemn white supremacy

When asked if he would condemn them, he said sure.

Then he asked which group he needs to condemn.

Wallace says Proud Boys, to which Trump says they should stand down and stand by.

I of course understand idiots saying this was him calling in the army but in reality its just a bad speaker not saying the right words.

Why is it that Trump is asked to condemn a fringe group that isn't causing widespread problem, but Biden doesn't have to speak to the endless violence of BLM and Antifa, of which the body count is at least 38 now?

Is the contention that Trump is waiting to turn into literal Hitler in his 2nd term? Odd strategy for literal Hitler to wait so long as the opposition gets more and more violent
