1) cuomo is not a criminal
2) cuomo made some mistakes that cost lives but they were not mistakes committed out of some weird ideology
3) cuomo and NY have tried to learn from their mistakes and actually put in place a pretty good plan
so yeah...i see a wee bit of daylight between cuomo and very poorly chosen one...but then i have good eyesight...not everyone is similarly blessed

When cuomo was sending elderly back to LTC, it was known what this virus does to the elderly. He gave others a death sentence by his action.
And all politicians are criminals in my eyes. Well, if they are there long enough.
ETA... if it comes out Biden and Obama were complicit in illegal spying on trump campaign, would you support Biden?

Nothing. Biden being a P candidate is a formality. Harris was always the one who would be running things and that should strike fear in real Americans who care about this country.

This is a lot of trump's supporters. I think Biden will go way to left with taxing and red tape, and really hurt people in my field, construction. Jobs have been very easy to find since trump took over...for my business anyway.

jeez...we are ahead of Germany and Canada by a yuge amount
we passed up Italy and France in spite of their being hit very hard and very early
we are closing fast on the UK in spite of their being hit hard and having a shambolic initial reaction from their government
among our peer group countries only Spain has done worse overall. And we have been catching up to them in deaths per capita up until very recently.

Italy, france, UK, and Spain are all seeing increases in cases. France and the UK, cases are at their highest point to date. Italy had highest number of cases since April yesterday. Spain is exceeding us in deaths per million most every day right now. Canada, while doing great compared to us, is pretty much right there in 7-day case avg with their pinnacle. Germans just seem to be too tough for covid to mess with.

Wow. That's some serious projection.
I for one absolutely do not want him to die from this. That would be perhaps the worst possible thing that could happen. I thought he wasn't showing symptoms, meaning that he probably won't become overly ill from it if he hasn't already, but could still be too early to know.
I would much rather see him face the music of his actions. Him dying now and escaping his karma, while become a martyr for right wing nuts, would be terrible for everyone.

Harris is far too liberal for my taste and Pence is just as far to the right. However, Harris seems quite a bit more.... determined I guess is the best word I can come up with right now. Pence would be a puppet for the Republicans (much like Biden is for the left), so on that front, I'd view him as the safer pick between Harris and Pence.
