The Coronavirus, not the beer

Wow. That's some serious projection.

I for one absolutely do not want him to die from this. That would be perhaps the worst possible thing that could happen. I thought he wasn't showing symptoms, meaning that he probably won't become overly ill from it if he hasn't already, but could still be too early to know.

I would much rather see him face the music of his actions. Him dying now and escaping his karma, while become a martyr for right wing nuts, would be terrible for everyone.

none of us want him to die...we have something better in mind for him

Stable meaning not close to dying? Sure.

No, I meant stable as not a cultish, sycophant or person close to dying. Tell me about your concerns.

She's liberal. Well, duh, she should be. She's a woman of color from a liberal state. What else?

POTUS showing mild symptoms, according to the WH spokesperson. Not good but also not so bad if they're being honest. He's got the best care available. He'll be fine.

A brush with his and loved ones' mortality could also make him rethink his relationship to the world and the people in it....nah.

Stable? She is so far left she is in danger of falling into the Pacific. Here ideals will almost certainly begin the demise of the country.

That's her geography, not her politics. Your sentence has no meaning. Explain yourself.

She's a college graduate with a law degree, served as district attorney of a major city and has moved up the political mountain. You can't do that and have overly radical views, one way of the other.

"Just prior to Harris taking office, the felony conviction rate was 50 percent;[58] by 2009, it was 76 percent.[59] Convictions of drug dealers increased from 56 percent in 2003 to 74 percent in 2006."

Boy, that's really liberal.

she is a centrist by California standards and slightly left of center by national democratic party standards...certainly well to the right of sanders and warren...but those distinctions are lost on someone from a deep red state

Harris' issue as a national political figure is that culturally she is very different than Biden. They come from completely different worlds socially. She has very little appeal to the white blue color workers. This is Biden's great strength. Among national politicians Biden is a vanishing breed for the Democrats. It is their achilles heel.

Harris very likely will have to seek out some version of Biden as her running mate if she is someday at the top of the ticket. One guy that I would keep an eye on is Mark Kelly. He has a great profile as an astronaut, naval aviator and husband of Gabby Giffords. His politics appear to be right of center within the Democratic Party. But most of all he is a Joisey Guy. There is more to being a Joisey Guy than being from New Jersey. You have to come from an ethnic and social milieu. He comes from an Irish American family. His parents were both cops. I know the area he grew up in very well. If he still has some Joisey Guy in him he can bring in some of those Biden voters who wouldn't vote for Hillary.

Along similar lines is MJ Hegar. She is a long shot in Texas. But if she wins, she checks off a lot of boxes. Senator from a big state that is becoming more competitive. Military service. Shrapnel scars. Had a difficult home situation growing up.
