That said, what if he dies say, in the next few weeks? What happens? Pence assumes office. But who assumes the nomination? Who does Biden face in the election? The election doesn't get delayed does it?

The RNC has a lot of say. They can substitute a candidate.

They can substitute a candidate, but... lots of people have already voted on ballots with the current folks. Technically, those votes are only for the "electors" who could theoretically shift to pence, but there has been a real push to reign in the power of electors to go "faithless" and vote for someone other than who they were put on the ballot to support. I would predict chaos, definitely a trip to the courts, and maybe ultimately ending up in the house (a long shot probably)? But who knows.

I'm comfortable assuming Trump was on his way to a relatively easy reelection before covid... so in a way your prayers were answered

I realize you spend every morning jerking off to polls and scandal stories... but i pay much closer attention to betting markets, which had Trump comfortably ahead til around May.

As I have said from the getgo, you are desperate for as much covid pain as possible because it helps defeat the Orange Man.
