GDT 10/8 NLDS Game 3: Get the brooms ready

Braves should sign Brantley this offseason to replace the retiring Markakis.

This better be the only year they do 8 teams in both leagues. Because it's gonna be bull**** to play 162 games and not have some advantage for the top seeds.
 
Such a great feeling to get back to the NLCS finally! It doesn't feel like it's been almost 20 years because those 90's runs are so engrained in my memory. The pressure is off these guys now no matter who they face. Just go out there and play!

I have to give props to the pitching too - it's been ridiculous despite the teams being faced, Considering what we've been through this year with the pitching staff, I couldnt even imagine this outcome.

I'm curious if there's any off days scheduled in the NLCS.

Nope. They play straight through. There will be off days in the World Series though.
 
We finally didn’t under achieve!! We can really only over achieve at this point given our starting rotation problems to begin the season. I doubt we would be picked by anyone to beat the Dodgers, Rays or Yankees (even though I feel we could beat any of them).

Considering most people picked the Reds over us I think we have overachieved

Yankees have the same rotation problems we have. We are the better team.

Dodgers are the only team clearly better than the Braves left.
 
Baseball is such a strange game, often with weird outcomes. It's nice to be on the good end of it for a change.
