that’s not at all what happened. there was nothing resembling a swing. if a player puts the bat towards the ball and hits it foul, it’s obviously a foul. those aren’t comparable situations tho.

A check swing isn’t always a swing either, my point is if ball hits bat it’s foul. Have you ever played baseball? This isn’t a new rule.
