GDT: NLCS Game 3 Braves vs Dodgers

I'm dead serious about saying Dayton is hurt, and replacing him with newcomb. Start newcomb tomorrow (assuming he's been throwing). Newcomb has had good luck vs dodgers. He isn't a good option, but Wilson sure as hell isnt

Dead serious. Think Smoltz still has it?

I think we have to consider getting TDA out of the game sooner rather than later. Rest our best arms and come back and try again tomorrow.

Rules interpretation help: Turner obviously reached his foot outside the batters box to interfere with that pitch that was ruled a HBP. IIRC once upon a time that was ruled as interference and the batter is out. Anyone else recall anything similar?

It was clear and should've been an out. I have no idea why this wasn't a bigger deal in the moment. Snit seemed OK with the explanation.

He should have lost his damn mind.

Not to overreact to two...bad innings, but right now my expectation is that the Dodgers win the next three games, and we have to win two in a row started by Fried and Anderson. Which is not a catastrophic place to be, I suppose.

I would think we’d have the SP advantage in game 7 as well.

This would be the wise move. Gear up for Game 4-7 now.

The Braves won 7 games in a row, and got annihilated by the Dodgers in the 8th game.

It happens, yet folks are going to whine and cry and blame the umps and write about how much they hate the opposing players...like a bunch of whiny toddlers.

My guess is the umpire said New York couldn’t make a judgement call and given he didn’t see it hit him he also didn’t see it.

What a disaster. This is the kind of start that can ruin a kid. Wright looked like someone had murdered his whole family.

That's ****ing unacceptable. Plain and simple.

For me, it means the fix is in. There's no other explanation.
