TBH, I think it was a good thing for him to see himself get out of that mess.

Maybe I’m crazy, but for some reason I have more faith in Wilson tomorrow than I did Wright tonight. And I’m not even a Wilson fan. I just knew Wright was going to get lit up tonight, and I even said so in last night’s GDT.

I looked at the stats and tried to talk myself into a reason to be upset that Ynoa was marginalized, but came away with the same impression.

My personal opinion based on the last week of the season was that Wright and Ynoa were pitching well, but for some reason I personally gravitated to Ynoa. I didn't really consider Wilson, but he was about the same going into the post season.

Hard to fault Snit.

Man, I haven’t been to Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill in years, but I believe both of those locations are the last time I’ve dined at either one.

The Grill is even worse than the Garden.

Don't think I've been to that Bayou Blvd Olive Garden since middle-school—at which point the Macaroni Grill didn't even exist (it was built post-Hurricane Ivan, as part of the Cordova Mall renovations). Went to the Macaroni Grill once when I was back visiting family during college, and ... yea. Worse.
 
off topic but i just switched over to the Billboard Awards and can i just say that medleys are the dumbest thing ever

Are his numbers far superior to Wilson?

2020 Wilson 4.02 ERA/4.85 FIP/5.28 xFIP 0.2 fWAR (8.62 K/9 5.2 BB/9)
2020 Ynoa 5.82 ERA/4.90 FIP/5.39 xFIP 0.0 fWAR (7.06 K/9 5.4 BB/9)

They've been about the same pitcher results wise and Wilson actually has the slight edge.
