The Coronavirus, not the beer

Extensive shutdowns in the early weeks of the virus made sense, Mr. Christie said. But he argued that a lot has been learned since then, and that what comes next requires leveling with the public about concerns while allowing reopenings as long as measures like mask wearing, social distancing and hand washing are followed.

“I believe we have not treated Americans as adults, who understand truth, sacrifice and responsibility that I know them to be,” he said in the statement, suggesting there’s a path forward. He described the responses to the virus as “governed by our two dominant political and media extremes: those who believe there is nothing to this virus and those alarmists who would continue to close down our country and not trust the common sense of the American people. Both are wrong.”

What I dont get is how a brilliant, sophisticated, non toothless society like France who also implemented a strict nationwide mask mandate since August is having this explosion in cases.

Trump is alive. His sheer existence is ruining the world's CCP virus response. Come on Sturg. You should know this.

Certainly can't argue with the results. I do wonder how they plan to eventually end the travel ban. Seems the only way to keep this up is continue their restrictions.

Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, North Carolina, Kansas, Nebraska, Idaho, New Mexico, and Indiana all had their record day in cases yesterday. Buckle up boys

https://www.nhpr.org/post/nh-announ...-cross-border-income-tax-collections#stream/0

Heres an interesting development. NH is suing MA for cross border income tax collection. Before the virus if you lived in NH but worked for a company in MA you paid MA income tax but if you worked from home in NH for a MA company that percent of time wasnt taxable by MA. So if you drove to work in MA 4 days a week and worked from home in NH one day a week you could deduct 20% from MA income taxes. Now with the virus they changed the rules capping that deduction at 20%. So we have MA collecting income tax from people who arent even working in MA anymore.

Italy with back-to-back-to-back-to-back record days in cases. They hadn't been over 7k cases until 4 days ago... they've topped that mark now 4 straight with the last 2 over 10k

So will this end November 4th because they are only doing this to hurt Trump or is this what Biden is going to do to the whole country. Please pick one of the above.
