10/15/20 GDT: NLCS game 4 Dodgers “@“ Braves

Let's be cautious yet and remember 1996. That said I have wished and hoped for a year like this one since 1995. This one so far is only rivaled by 1991

Maybe not the next 100. That's a bit dramatic.

But it's been 25 years since we've reached the pinnacle.

LOL at you nerds who think winning it all isn't more important than "being competitive" for X amount of years.

I would probably sacrifice the next decade for a world championship this year.

Braves were very good from 1991-2005 and only have one title to show for it. Nobody outside of hardcore Braves fans remembers the 96 or 99 Braves- they remember the Yankees dynasty and Jeter and Rivera.

The fact this is the Corona year amplifies the importance to a degree.

So if the Braves win the Series without doing any of the crazy things that you have suggested them do, this will prove you are right?
 
Had to charge my phone in the middle of the game so I wasn’t able to keep up with the thread.

Holy bananas they are only one win away from the World Series!

I am often right, though. Many posters on this board didn't think we'd play this year due to COVID.
