I'm pretty sure I've seen Nick take more down the middle fast balls for strike three this postseason than I have seen him do in his entire regular season. Riley simply isn't particularly good but Nick to me more so than any player on the Braves does just seem to completely over think things in playoff baseball and putting up some sh*tty AB's.

Thought maybe that was just my frustration talking but then I looked it up and confirmed that he has struck out 80 times and 59 times in his past 623 and 414 regular season AB's but in the post season he has 12 K's in 32 AB's this year. He's got 95 career at bats in the playoffs and is a 178 hitter with a 483 ops. Some guys unfortunately just change who they are under pressure. He seems to be one of them.
