I'm much more concerned about the censorship than the contents of the censorship.

I see twitter is back at it again... now censoring Charlie Kirk for sharing a voter fraud story.

The left will laugh and defend it as they always do.

But the willingness for major media outlets to simply erase opinions they don't care for is a growing concern of mine. I often look to see if they censor "misinformation" from the left but haven't been able to find any examples

I don't want them suppressing anything... but I want them to apply their rules consistently. I frequently see complete falsehoods from the left spreading like wildfire on the website without the warning labels, etc

Maybe they will get it right eventually. I suggest they just let people post whatever they want, but I recognize you among many others no longer wish for freedom of speech to be allowed
 
I see another post about masks not being effective has been censored. Ho hum.

Imagine if we as a society rejected all scientific arguments that went against the accepted science at the time throughout our history.

Not a good way to progress. But one party can certainly keep cheering it on

The more official a poster is I think the greater chance its going to get scrutinized. I dont do social media but I could go on twatter and claim Trump is a secret Leprechaun and I doubt it would be removed. Its a tricky subject in the alternative facts Presidency but they are a private company and are going to do what they believe leads to making the most amount of money. They obviously cant please everyone here. Would you as CEO of the company not allow any censorship even if it hurt your bottom line? The market can be volatile. Twatter could go the route of MySpace. Free market dictates that if what they are doing is unpopular a rival company will eventually be created and overtake them. If I am a CEO of a national company I think its far more profitable to pander to the left than the right.

Maybe the next time Biden says Trump said neo nazis were very fine people, they will suspend the account rather than let it free spread?
 
Is that inaccurate? We could list a thousand things we cant agree on whether its true or not. Do you have any examples of Trump making a false claim about something Biden said being removed? I dont follow his twatter unless its reported on the news or shown here but I know damn well he has said very untrue things about what Biden says. His posts saying Biden admitted in public to getting the prosecutor fired for investigating his son is completely false. I dont recall hearing anything about that taken down. I know he says on twatter that Biden wants to defund the police. Thats not taken down. So show me an example of Trump misrepresenting a quote of Bidens that is taken down. It might exist I dont know. Like I said, I wouldnt see it unless someone here or the media brought it up.
 
He actually said Fauci. There are plenty of scientists who disagree with Fauci but they don't get airtime bc they question the approved narrative.

Fauci wants to shut down again. Fauci said we need to cancel Thanksgiving.

Biden said on TV that if Fauci tells him to shut it down, then he will shut it down.

Thats good enough reason for me to hope Biden gets his ass kicked.
 
Ask enough scientists and you will find plenty who believe in a lot of bat**** crazy things. Before I look up who Tucker, Hannity, and the other prime time hosts on the largest news cable station in the country have had on their air, do you want to double down on that statement that the media wont allow scientists with opposing views on air?


I'll be voting for the person who wants to listen to Dr. Fauchi.
