So in discussing how our nation's "great" history, what you really mean is white American history? Got it. America sure has been great for white people.
That's a crock of **** that America has given more freedom to more people, when 90% of history has done the exact opposite.

The Chinese model. As I recall someone once argued that China never invaded and occupied other countries like we do. When I mentioned Tibet that same person poopoohed the notion that the Tibetans had any standing as a country or people. It wasn't so long ago. But I guess memories are short around here.

I'm just pointing out that not so long ago you said they were peace-loving and left other people alone, unlike 'merica which was always invading other countries. Just suffering a lil whiplash keeping up with things.
But I'm glad you're now woke to China's perfidy re the Tibetans and Uighurs. Not to mention their recurring border skirmishes against India.
If you really want to get riled up against China read up on the "nine dash line" and Paracel Islands.
Maybe thethe already knows about "nine dash line." He is a scholar.
