Peyton Manning has that hard count down pat.
Classless move from the Seahawks. Blocking all ticket sales to CA residents.
Its certainly not short on drama.Next Sunday has a chance to be one of the greatest championship weekends the NFL has ever seen

I get much satisfaction seeing Zito and giles crying all day. That was basically 10 hours of straight crying boys. That has to be some sort of record.

Just some musings on this playoffs.
Broncos are in their best point to win now. Broncos are at about 120 million towards their 2014 cap, though they're almost for sure cutting champ bailey. Or at least restructuring him. Same likelyhood with Clady where a new deal can lower their hit and let them have another great shot next year. Welker could also potentially be a guy they could rework. But I doubt that. Broncos have a lot of big FA though, Rogers-Cromartie and Jammer are both FA, Moreno, and Decker as well. They won't be able to keep all of them most likely unless they make some big moves. Other defensive starters are FA as well, Mike Adams, Shaun Phillips, and Wesley Woodyard. Obviously there will be some guys who were starters for them, who won't be back.
Niners and Seahawks I think are both teams who'll likely be in the mix next year. But both coming up on big payroll crunches. Niners it will be after 2015 when Kaepernick is a FA and will no longer be making under a mil. If they're smart they'll do what the Falcons did and get him signed early, the earlier you sign your QB and make the cuts you need to make the better your team is long term. Seahawks crunch is the year after the Niners when Wilson is a FA but they'll first feel the sting start next year and may lose some guys to FA or have to cut some guys. But they're gonna return many of the same players most likely.
Pats are golden for the future as long as they have Brady and Belichick. On of the youngest teams in the NFL and had the second best record in the AFC. With a slew of good WRs who may hit FA the Pats should invest in one of them, not sure who fits their needs but potential FAs are Jacoby Jones, Jermaine Jones, Jacoby Jones, Devin Hester, Jeremy Maclin, Emmanuel Sanders, Heyward-Bey, Nicks, Britt, McCluster, Golden Tate, and their option to keep Edelman.
Personally I'd let Edelman walk, Bring in Sanders and Nicks if they both his FA. Nicks coudl be you 1, and Sanders your slash. Edelman put up great numbers but he's no different than pretty much anyone out there, except that he had Brady throwing him the ball. He's no Welker.
