yes, dems should *always* come back and make concessions. but when the gop is in power, they can do whatever they want. it’s up to dems to be normal afterwards. makes complete sense.

mcconnell has already come out and said he won’t let Biden out who he wants in his cabinet.

so Biden is supposed to just say “ok mitch! whatever you want!” otherwise he’s labeled the extremist.

it’s baffling.

I can say pretty confidently that Trump had a pretty good term.

The media despised him like ive never seen before.

Almost all institutions despised him.

Despite that opposition he had good results.

Id have liked to have seen election results without the scary virus... And wish Biden would have campaigned more and took some harder question to learn more about what his intentions are.

But am really hoping for the best from him

Take a breath man

Biden can do whatever he wants. But if it was unacceptable for Trump to do it, why would you be supportive of Biden doing it?

because they made it acceptable?
it was a way to insert whoever he wanted. you had no issue with it. none.
now Biden isn’t supposed to utilize the same tactic? it’s been deemed OK. why is it different for Biden for than it was for trump?

he repeatedly said he wouldn’t.
the big “fracking” counties in PA went decisively blue......
maybe the right should cater to more voters? they can’t win popular votes

I agree that the right should appeal to more voters and not tell republicans to move to Delaware so they win a couple extra senate seats.

I think Biden could do quite well. If he accomplishes nothing more than calming the polarization in this country, his term will be a resounding success.

the bar is low

and there is a crisis, which will have the effect of clarifying the country's priorities

they have no incentive to tho.
the electoral college protects them. is that debatable at this point?

Ill be very honest i dont know much about it. Im putting two and two together based on the context here.

If biden wants to do it... He can do it. But if you wanna move away from trump era politics maybe he shouldnt?

You understand how things tend to escalate in the future i hope

trump’s debts are gonna come due and he’s a broke ass baby.
can’t hold off prosecution anymore. go after the lifelong criminal.

Trump is not as rich as he pretends but he's hardly broke. His broke is a level of wealth you and I will never know.

it wasn’t done before on the scale trump and mcconnell used it.
trump and mcconnell knew they wouldn’t get the people passed.
so they deemed a loophole was acceptable.
if mcconnell is going to try to force Biden into appointments, Biden has every right, and in my mind responsibility, to make mcconnell compromise any way he can. there’s no reason Biden has to compromise more to mcconnell here than vice versa.
why should Biden commit to going by “norms” that mcconnell and trump flagrantly bucked?

i think he has way less cash than he pretends.
his grifting emails are demanding money, and stipulate that over 50% of it can be used to pay off campaign debt.
he’s in a **** ton of debt. i don’t think he can pay it.

Trump will probably more money than he ever had in his post presidency.

Hes likely to start a new network.

He will still be the center of the political universe, i bet
