Cano tests positive for PEDs yet again

I wonder if mlb would consider punishing teams too. Make them self police this more. Something like reducing that teams luxury tax threshold by the contract amount.

This. I think it's ridiculous to let teams out from these bad contracts because they test positive for PED. Should still be on the hook for the salary but Cano shouldnt get any of it.

Cano had already been suspended for this when the Mets traded for him.
they knew he was a risk. they should shoulder at least some of the salary.

I'd love to see a system where the salary must be donated to a charity or in a year like this, donated to all of those minor leagures who lost out on this seasons salary.
