We’ve already established Trump has lied about his entire career for his advantages
As a public official, one with the most powerful job in the world, you don’t go around calling people by racially inventive comments and names. As we can see, his actions and words have only led to an increase in racism and hate in this country. It’s wrong. How many impressionable kids are walking around learning that behavior from their parents because their parents feel like it’s ok because Trump does it and they think it’s funny?
Do you think it would be ok for him to walk around using the n word when referring to black people? The k word when referring to Jews? No. It’s disgusting. But I wouldn’t expect anything less from Trump. He’s a racist and a bigot and it’s awful that he was elected for a single term. Thankfully the majority of our country went out and voted to end this failure of a president.

Cohen was interviewed the other day and said Trump never thought he'd even win the election, and never intended to win. The campaign was simply just to start up momentum for his TV network.

This was never about Warren and what she claimed to be/what her ancestry is. This was about the fact that Trump used a racist term when referring to her. He could have called me the k word, and as Jew I would be pissed. He could have called any black person by the n word and they’d be pissed. I was simply pointing out that he referred to Warren as something insensitive, not that she was a victim bc what she claimed. That’s an entirely separate issue. But I’m not shocked that you chose to muddy the waters and fire back something dumb and ignorant.
Let’s say you have dark skin tones. I don’t know if you are black, Indian, or Hispanic. If I call you the n word, but you aren’t black, does that make it any less racist? That’s my point.

If I say I’m Jewish, but I’m not, and Trump called me a kike, or let’s say he’s not as insensitive as he is, and he calls me a damn Jew, that’s no different than what he did. If you can’t see what, why or how that’s racist and insensitive, then I don’t know what to tell you.
But the fact that you and Trump supporters try and justify and make sense of what he does/says and dignify it speaks volumes to an equally bad problem.

Where does this constant revisionist history that Pelosi can't get the caucus to vote in unison come from?
She delivered the ACA to Obama. She had 2 Dems vote no on Impeachment.
She has been way way way more successful at keeping all wings of the party behind her, than Boehner or Ryan ever did from 2010-2018. She saved Bush and Trump from having a second Great Depression fall under their watches.
She has been way more effective of a politician than people give her credit for. I know people in the party want her to move aside from some fresh blood, but she's even been able to keep those "progressives" on a leash when it came down to it. There was way more party in-fighting under Boehner and Ryan than there has been on Pelosi's two speakership terms. One of the only big scandals where she had a public fight with one of the newer bloods was Omar and the Israel stuff.
Pelosi said she'd step down in 4 years as Speaker when they retook the House. Considering the Dems, even if they get to 50-50 in the Senate after the runoffs, won't have a true majority in Senate, having Pelosi ramming bills to McConnell's desk from one side, and having Biden pressure McConnell from the White House on the other, is about the best play the Dems have of trying to get anything meaningful done.
And Pelosi is very effective at it. Probably almost as effective at getting what she wants done as McConnell is in the Senate.
If Pelosi is this ultra uber left wing communist that the right always makes her out to be, how is it progressives like AOC think she doesn't do enough? This is like how Biden keeps getting portrayed as somehow this bigger progressive socialist than Obama, when Obama tapped him to be Veep to balance the ticket since Biden was essentially a centrist moderate.
If there is one thing the right is good at, it's moving goalposts to whatever narrative they want and pounding that message over and over and over until people believe it. But by then the damage has already been done.
