Thank you. I’m glad people see it for what it is. When I kept harping on this last night, the response was “well she lied so it’s ok that Trump called her that.” I don’t understand why people twist and manipulate what is being done and said to defend something. Racism is racism. If a white, Christian male was lying about something, and someone came up to him and called him a “lying n k,” it would still be offensive and racist, even if it’s not true. Racism is racism. Period.

When claims of racism are made its because they lose on facts.

As sturg pointed out minorities are realizing that democrats don't represent them any longer. Check the donation composition for democrats now.
 
There is no longer any dispute that politicians like George Wallace, Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms were racists and based their appeal in part on racism and xenophobia. They all got some black votes. Doesnt change the verdict. So too with very poorly chosen one.

The whole blood quantum aspect is screwed up, and a means in which the government continues to keep Natives down. It is horrible when you really think about it. No other race has to go through this. That's why most tribes don't give a flying **** what your DNA test says. If you can prove connection to someone on one of their rolls, you are Native. If not, you will not be recognized (in most cases). It is an attempt to reclaim control over this in some small way and reduce the internal damage and strife caused by the whole concept of blood quantum. The only frustrating aspect is how hard it is to prove that connection under so many different circumstances (for one, it was worse to be identified as Native than absolutely anything else). I have tested as high as 21% on a chromosomal level (which is by far high enough to be considered Native in that regard), and because of a massacre that resulted in a "secret" adoption, I have yet to be able to make the necessary connection to a roll.

The totals are still completely lopsided in favor of the democrats with minorities as a whole, but it is a question the democrats should definitely be asking themselves and figuring out the best approach to better representing the people who support them.

Not everything is racist/racism. Yet...not everything is NOT racist/racism. What Trump did in this regard was considered racist by the race he targeted. That, to me, is a greater indicator than any cries from white people. If the race targeted largely considers it racist/racism, it most likely is.

I'm an analyst within a finanxe/accounting infrastructure. I'm not advanced enough in statistics to be a data scientist. But most of my knowledge on auditing theory comes from my 4 years at pwc. Risk analytics yell you what you need to look at.
