My reply to them would be "Ok, next time your party wins go ahead and slash that budgets. Run on a platform of slashing anything and everything because of the debt and see how that works out for you. Every President in modern history has spent more than the previous President so we wont be the first to change that. Republicans are welcome to put their money where their mouth is and set that precedent next time instead of spending like drunken sailors than getting mad at the Democrat who takes over the mess they left behind."

No, its just that voters like to be lied to. Justin Amash basically committed political suicide by telling the truth. Ben Sasse from what I see is fairly honest. Then theres my guy Ron Paul who was blacklisted by the media for daring to speak the truth. And before you start with some ****, Hannity and the radical right were leading that charge to blacklist Ron Paul because he wanted to bring the troops home......... 8 years later they did a complete 180 when Trump talked about bringing the troops home.....
