I hope these guys destroying property and threatening people get arrested.

But we have a big problem in the country. Its massively divided and nobody trusts anything anymore. I dont how to solve but this path is unsustainable

(A good start would be ending the dumb lockdowns and sending people back to work)
 
Capitol police now asking other law enforcement for help. Supposedly several "suspicious" supposedly outside the capitol. Trump denounced Pence. Don Jr to his credit is encouraging people to use their first amendment right but to not get violent.

Sure. And it's wrong. It was also wrong when it was being done because some people who are incapable of understanding statistics were led to incorrectly believe that black people are in more danger from police than everyone else.

See, it's simple. Wrong is wrong, no matter which side the perps are on. We've been telling y'all that for months.

Either that or he knows none of the rioters are looking at twitter right now, and he wanted to give himself a little cover.

Black people are in more danger from the police. The odds of being shot and killed by police are low but that is far from the only way cops can hurt a person.
 
National Guard on its way according to Politico. Tear gas used in the Rotunda. I believe debate has stopped. Hearing Congressmen asked to grab gas masks from under their seats.
 
I don’t normally predict anything but this is over in 2 hrs and cleared

I am. You just came around recently so you must think I am some leftist. I am not. I spent many yeas bitterly aguing with the Democrats here. No one is more objective than me. Thethe is overly optimistic about everything he likes. I like it when it comes to the Braves. Not so much when it comes to politics.
 
Today would have been the day Goldy made some money from Sturg had he taken the bet. Although who knows if Sturg would have actually paid his debt. This is the definition of not leaving the presidency peacefully.

I said elsewhere, a large chunk of the country (8 of 10 Pub voters from yesterday's primary according to one poll) believes there is no redress at the ballot box now. And that chunk probably owns 60ish percent of the guns. The government would be well advised to tread lightly.
