It is a slanted history. Her bias clearly shows. But it's still a solid history. Like I said above, you go back to Randy Weaver, Waco, etc., and people have to realize that those events have long burned in the minds of a certain segment of society.

I just think the leadership has been there from the beginning. I don't think the Proud Boys equate to Hitler's Brown Shirts, but they are far more organized than beer league softball. They, and others, have a pretty good idea of what they want to do. Problem is, they may be more task-oriented than goal-oriented. I have no idea what they believe and if you asked them, they may not be able to tell you either beyond some cliched banalities.

Today was an expression of a disease that will outlast the lockdowns.

Not a fan of lockdowns but at least it’s a response to a pandemic.

Well, yes by the time it has an organizational structure and identity like the Proud Boys do, it has found its leadership. I'm talking about the "raw material" before that stage.

RW streams I am watching seem desperate for anything they can get to accuse ANTIFA of impersonating MAGA being the ones doing the violence. Considering how little they care about facts I assume this will be their stance going forward.

Lol it was a absolute disgrace of a speech. He spoke for a minute and spent at least half of that time talking about how the election was stolen from him. He then said he loves the people who protested. It was a joke.

Lol my wife said this is like you saying to me “I’m sorry you got fat and I cheated on you. I couldn’t bring myself to sleep with you anymore so I had to cheat on you. This is your fault. Go home and lose weight.”
