Let's Talk About Media

Same author. Different rules for different agendas

This is not sustainable.

Yes, there are different rules for different things

How did you make it to whatever age you are in life? Lol

Like, literally the last 4 years. Just randomly saying "people should just go burn down the capitol" is not equivalent to what Trump did. This is something that he has been building to for a long time. If he was ever in real threat of being removed during impeachment we would have seen this then.

I am not playing your game. You dismissed when people said he was inciting violence for 4 years. You tell me how so many people knew this was where his actions and words were leading? Maybe we are psychic.

"With great power comes great responsibility". Trump for his own perceived political gain worked his retarded followers into a frenzy. Asked them to show in mass during the certification of the vote. Then told them to go fight for him. He might have said "peaceful protest" somewhere but by in large his words were to tell his cult to fight for him. Now I know what your saying. A lot of people use the word "fight" in a non-violent context. He convinced his cult that the countries election was rigged by China in a communist conspiracy to overthrow the legitimate government on the US. Then told them to go fight to save their country. I can drag you to water but I cant make you drink.

After watching clips of Fox News talking about Obama's rhetoric I came across a phrase that I think more accurately describes what Trump was doing. He was "baiting the lunatics". Inciting violence is a legally touchy subject. I am REALLY curious to see what role he or any of the people he appointed very late in his term had any role in sabotaging the defense. If there was a strong defense force at the Capitol the violence would have been minimal. I have seen a lot of finger pointing since the attack. Hopefully people keep an open mind about that investigation and dont rush to judgement given the era of fake news we live in.

Here's an interesting article on the biases of different online news sites.

When you're flaunting the law, going around destroying property, and causing the deaths of innocent people, there shouldn't be a difference.

How we treat the underlying issues (police use of force vs belief of election fraud) can be different. How we treat those who descend into anarchy should be no different.

I condemn those who rioted last year and I condemn those who rioted at the capitol. You can agree with rioters and their grievances without agreeing with their methods.

reading that on military bases (in the near future) the default tv station will no longer be Fox News

If I find the link will pass it on

Good, no partisan news source should be the default. I would replace it with Boomerang, those guys could use some humor.
