The Biden Presidency

I would be in favor of free diapers and a diaper mandate for Trump supporters. So they stop defecating all over the place.

It’s time for unity says the GOP after McConnell already said behind closed doors a week ago that he’s going to block anything that’s good for the country if it helps Biden. Lol.

Joe wanted unity. He called for it, right before doing a bunch of divisive stuff.

Republicans and people on this board think democrats should act like a battered wife who just keeps going back to her husband

Holding the husband/republicans accountable = being divisive in their world

It’s gonna be really weird to have an actual president again

Whatever executive orders Biden signs in the first 100 days and thereafter, I hope he does them with as little fanfare as possible, meaning none.

Please, please don't make a big deal out of them and show the signature, ala U know who. Biden has a great opportunity to do a lot of good with little hoopla and win a lot of approval for it.

I hate calls for unity. When politicians call for unity what they're usually saying is everyone who disagrees with me should stop and we should unify around me getting everything I want.

I'm always 100% supportive of the parties working together to compromise and pass what they can agree on. I actually support divided government because of this.

I hope Biden actually means he wants real unity founded on compromise and mutual respect. However, I suspect he'll do what Trump did when Trump found himself with unified government under the Republican party. That is to grab as much as he could while he could.

Obama had a bigger mandate for unity and compromise when he came in, than Trump did in 2016.

And he was greeted with obstructionism immediately from the House minority and McConnell
