foot soldier for the big lie...one of the 145 who voted to disenfranchise the voters of Arizona and Pennsylvania...nothing is stopping him from repudiating those votes or his participation in the big lie

“If you look at what other people have said, politicians at a high level about the riots during the summer, the horrible riots in Portland and Seattle and various other places, that was a real problem,” he said.

That part is accurate. Normalizing and even rewarding violence certainly incentivized it for the small number of anarchists who were hiding among the crowd of mostly peaceful protesters at the Capitol.

One more thing:

It has been over 24 hours since I asked any MAGA to tell me what the "protesters" were protesting

I think the word "protesters" is used more as a stand in for the crowd prior to it becoming a riot. I think a better term would be "ralliers" as the crowd was there for a rally. It went from there to riot.

Look at this fat slob bending over backwards to defend his cult leader.

It actually makes sense...

Trump is a wannabe dictator, and sturg is a wannabe boss in real life to the point he lies about managing people to make himself appear more important than he is. Both fat slobs are desperate to be "in charge", so sturg can personally relate to Trump's needs.

Good thing neither of these fat pigs will be in charge of anything very soon...and strug never was.

Lol I must have missed the origin of his job, but how do we know what he does? Lol I do find it hilarious that he’s the running joke of this thread now after continuing to call people out and question them over nothing.

Mitch tried to wetnurse the mother****er across the finish line, but didn't quite get there.

"Now put your right foot in
Your right foot out
Right foot in
Then you shake it all about
And then you do the hokey pokey
Turn yourself around
That's what it's all about"

I asked what they were protesting
your contention is it was a glorified weinie roast

Just saying what the right word would be based on what the original gathering was. It was a rally that became a riot instead of a protest.

Protest or rally makes no difference once they became rioters.

Seriously

The Republican Party is the dumbest

I could make a decent argument that barring validly elected members of Congress from the building unless they submit to a search is unconstitutional..

I wouldn't, but the argument isn't far fetched.

The fact that Republican members of Congress think that they are too

important to go through metal detectors tells you everything you need

to know about them.

I've seen very, very few good takes from Twitter. It's almost as if a character limit precludes fully formed arguments.

@CoriBush
is a complete breath of fresh air. Asked by
@chrislhayes
about GOP members evading metal detectors she starts off with "first of all, THIS IS A JOB. you work at McDonald's and you don't wear the uniform, you don't work today....Have these people ever had a job?"

appears we have more " ralliers" trying to enter the House chamber

twitter led me to an article on how the FBI alerted the Capital Police there was going to be a rally
odd the FBI would be alerting the police about an everyday rally.
You know with, " ralliers"

c'mon striker you are making me laugh

uppps, another "rallier"

Lauren Boebert has been arrested FOUR TIMES, including for resisting arrest.

She joked about challenging colleagues to a duel, cheered the Capitol rioters

and live-tweeted her colleagues’ locations. She claimed to be illegally armed

in DC and wants to force guns into the Capitol.
