Sopranos. Snore.

Anyway assuming they don't get pushed back movies I'm looking forward to

Dune
Coming 2 America
Godzilla vs. Kong
Venom: Let there be Carnage
Space Jam 2
The Suicide Sqaud
The King's Man
No Time to Die
Last Night in Soho
Eternals
Black Widow
Don't Look Up
The Guilty
The French Dispatch

I'm also intrigued by The Dig, Judas and the Black Messiah, The Father, Mortal Kombat, Nobody, and Free Guy

Dune
Spidey 3
Black Widow
Morbius
Eternals
Death on the Nile
No time to Die
Shang Chi
Jungle Cruise

To name a few

I'll watch the new Venom, but I wasn't super impressed with the first one. Not bad, but pretty flat compared to recent comic book movies.

Here's why I like New Venom more than old. Old Venom was just a Tom Hardy vehicle. New one pits Tom Hardy's Venom against Woody Harrelson's Carnage. That's got me excited if done well. And with a new director I think it has more potential.

Sopranos sequel?

I'm rewatching it now, and until Season 5, theres no reason to tune in. The first 4 are brutally slow.

Been watching some classics lately I haven't seen in awhile. Die Hard 1&2, National Lampoons Vacation and European Vacation. Just started on Alien the other night.

Yeah...I tried to watch that recently and it's just sooo slow starting out. Maybe I've been dumbed down by modern movies but I just couldn't get into it again.

I read where Fassbender and McKellan both were approached about being in the show. Elizabeth Olson also mentioned there'll be a huge cameo similar to Skywalker in the Mandalorian. I really think it'll be Fassbender as X-Men gets introduced to the MCU. I don't know how it would fit in with the story line, but a Hugh Jackman Wolverine appearance would be epic.

I'm pretty sure she said that about the cameo in Episode 5. But I could be wrong.

I have opinions I'll go on below.

I don't know if more X-Men would show up, since MCU Wanda and Pietro weren't Magneto's kids. Though maybe Evan Peters's quicksilver will convince Wanda to bring in Magneto, but who knows. I think the tease that could be the big one is Reed Richards or Doctor Doom being introduced as the aerospace engineer who would build the tank thing to break into the barrier unscathed

I thought about that Fantastic Four angle too.
And they may introduce that too. But someone also mentioned that Paul Bettany said the person making a cameo is someone he's always wanted to work with. It seems unlikely he'd be talking about Evan Peters. That leaves Fassbender or McKellan as the most likely.

Or whoever the new Reed Richards/Doctor Doom is. Or perhaps this gets us someone for the upcoming Spiderman film, perhaps Jamie Foxx or Albert Molina for the spidey multiverse movie coming up. Fun fact though, Bettany has worked on the same film (whether that's the same as his implication or not is debatable) as Ian McKellan back on the Da Vinci Code.

Yes I was aware he was in Da Vinci Code with McKellan, but they never had any scenes together, so I wasn't sure if they actually "worked together."

I don't see the Spidey/verse fitting into this particular storyline, and I also don't think it would have the "wow" factor Olson and Bettany have mentioned (unless it's Tobey Maguire). IMO, among the Marvel characters in current cinematic existence, I think the only "wow" factor options would be Magneto, Jackman as Wolverine, Professor X, or Tobey Maguire's Spiderman.

Reed Richard's/Dr. Doom is certainly possible. But they're introduction may not really need a "Luke Skywalker" moment.

Of course it's possible Olson is exaggerating the "Luke Skywalker" type of moment in the series and it will indeed be someone you listed. But it's been reported McKellan and Fassbender both were approached for the series, so Fassbender is where I'm hedging my bets. It also fits with the family theme going on in the series.

I assumed when she said Luke Skywalker moment it was more about the shock of it than anything else.

To me a Reed Richards already being Mr. Fantastic would be HUGE.
