Surely you can see the difference in the severity between Omar’s statements and MTG’s statements. However, I feel sort of icky about her being stripped of her committees by the opposing majority party in Congress. She’s an unhinged lunatic, but she was voted in as an unhinged lunatic. It feels somewhat shady to have her district not have a representative on any committees because she has said some bad things. She’s either a member of Congress or she isn’t. I sure hope she isn’t one in 2022, but don’t think it prudent to sideline her while she is.
