Let’s try this game again. The republicans need a woman, preferably somewhat of a minority, near the top of thier card that has experience and name value, Haley already checks all the boxes. The dems are going to run a black woman and play the sex and race card 24/7. The gop does not have a chance unless it can steal some of the minority and woman voting block.

The racial grievance crowd has already preempted any minority Pub candidates with their "multiracial whiteness" nonsense. Just being a Pub makes you a white supremacist now, regardless of your skin color or ancestry. There's no reason to pick anyone but the best candidate. I don't think that's Haley, but she's probably top 5. I'd prefer one Tim Scott over a dozen Haleys.

I’m for that, you’re for that but you play the game to win. If you think the center left and undecideds will see through the liberal bull**** you can take that gamble and hope you’re right. If the center left and undecideds see that the GOP is running a trump disciple, the voters are going to hear/read the nominee is like trump 24/7 from every media source and you’ll probably lose those needed voters.

After seeing how Biden intends to President and Trump being the presumptive Republican nominee I am going to open my 2024 election odds at 60% Trump 40% Biden.
Republicans have a well oiled attack machine going. Biden seems to think he can ignore Trunp and he will go away. Perhaps he will be in prison by 2024 but he very well could delay those investigations/trials long enough or theoretically he could run for President from prison. Which is my favorite option. He would probably be immediately pardoned if he was convicted in Georgia.

The Georgia governor has no pardon power. That power is vested in the Board of Pardons and Paroles. It's a less political. If Trump were convicted in Georgia it's unlikely he'd be pardoned.
However, I seriously doubt he'd be convicted. The Fulton County DA just won election over a long time incumbent. She's a piece of human garbage (as virtually all DAs are) but she's ambitious. She has her eyes on higher offices and sees this as a way to make a name for herself.
I won't be surprised to see Trump indicted. I'll be very surprised if he's convicted. There's a good chance the case wouldn't even reach a jury.

I thought all Governors had pardon powers in the state. I am going to guess you live in Georgia to know that much about the DA. I am sure you know the law especially Georgia law better than me but I dont see how Trumps phone calls is not soliciting someone to commit election fraud. That the state Republicans are trying to change the states constitution to get epection fraud grand jury to include the entire state rather than just the county it was committed in tells me they expect charges. Even if they make the change I would think not would not effect crimes prior to the change but they wouldnt be doing it now for any other reason than to help Trump. I dont see how Trump could make any claim that he just wanted accurate results and there was no corrupt motive.
I fully expect the real crazies to come out if/when Trump goes on trial. Expecting atleast 1 terrorist attack.
