ST 3/23

This feels like a big game for kipnis and lamb. Red Sox starting a rhp (Richards) that's hardly dominant. A bad game today could be it for either one

So Drew Smyly hasn't pitched since March 9 in a big league game. And for some reason, none of our useless beat writers have even asked about this. Anyone know what's going on?

Yeah. Getting to make or break time for Lamb, Kipnis and PANDA.

Lamb is toast imo.

Not sure how they are wanting to round out the bench but overall I'd say Kipnis has hit like you'd expect him too and Panda slightly higher.

I think Lamb is out.... I think panda bear and kipper are in .... should be interesting game - hoping Ynoa takes another step forward

They probably haven't made anything public because it's a non-issue.

He’s been doing sim games as they want to get a look at the young starters who are battling it out for that 5th spot. Smyly already has a rotation spot locked down.

Is it just me, or does Ynoa seem like the best option to fill out the rotation? Wright and Touki are too inconsistent, and Wilson just isn’t very good.

This is the route I'd be going - seems like the front office wants Wilson/Wright. If not, stick Ynoa in the pen as a RH option and give him a chance to be our second best RH reliever. But I'd much rather start him.

Ynoa or Wilson is fine by me. Wright and Touki have no business being on the Major League roster at present.

I'd like Touki to be a RP at this point. I think Ynoa as well. Give me some nasty, low priced RH RPs that can go multiple innings.

I'd use Wilson as the fifth starter. If Smiley's hurt then I might lean Ynoa over Wright.

Touki just can't seem to maintain his mechanics for long stretches of time. Ynoa just seems like a one time through the order guy to me.
