Republican voter suppression...

My grandma would have planned ahead for a 10 minute wait.

Grandmas are resourceful like that.

some of the prefer to give their grandchildren an opportunity to show their love by bringing them snacks and water while they wait in very long lines

The food and water thing is a little odd but it's not too much of a stretch considering other electioneering laws.

I do think there are some who are very vocal about this who aren't mad because it makes it harder for people to vote. They're mad because it makes it harder to ballot harvest and so robs them of power. I think Stacy Abrams is one of those people. She suddenly became a king maker in Georgia with such widespread absentee voting due to her organization's boots on the ground capabilities of collecting votes. This reduces her ability to impact the results of an election and so reduces her power in Georgia.

It's not the elderly or the infirmed that were swinging election results, it was the disinterested that organizations were able to convince to cast absentee votes.

Also, where Republicans aren't successful in limiting ballot harvesting, expect to see them sink money into their own efforts. The results will not be fun.

As bad as the blatant voter suppression is in the bill Georgia governor

Kemp signed into law last night, the part more folks need to talk about

is how it gives their red state legislature the power to take over elections.

The next Trump who asks for a "favor" will likely get it.

I’ve literally already done that and you are on record for voter suppression

Lol

I can’t for the life of me figure out why I wouldn’t to engage further with someone who thinks his smart retort is “why isn’t anything short of sending a person to your house to get your vote, voter suppression”

Again, We literally have already done this

You disagree that it’s voter suppression (it is), you said some incredibly stupid **** about sending people to get votes at the voters house (you thought this was clever but it wasn’t) and then you came publicly stated you were in favor of voter suppression

It appears to me you cannot explain how this bill specifically removes voting access

You're welcome to prove me wrong.

But I know you can't.

It's cute talking to an idiot

It's so cute. Your masters tell you it's voter suppression.

You don't understand why or how. You can't explain it yourself.

But you blindly believe it.

So cute.

This is how idiots think they are gonna die when they get covid. Critical thinking is so badly missing in this country. It's like talking to a bunch a three year olds
