Also deester, do you think the national attention, media narrative, and response from MLB is appropriate based on the bill?
Honestly. Some of the points of the bill are stupid to argue. I mean...the water thing..big deal (but yes I believe people standing in line for 10 hours is complete bs). The access spelled out should be available for everyone. So this arguing about its just easy to vote looks good. UNTIL...you actually read the 98 pages. Not getting into that again...I did that.
Now to answer you...I think the narrative, the measures are invasive and not the right thing to do. If you want to hit Georgia, we all know there are financial incentives (although 100 million is not chump change)to punish without using mlb as a statement tactic. I don't like grand standing or any politician using this as their 'chance' to have outrage. Yes..the media made it worse, but that's where people should read and make their own decisions.
Instead of Kemp playing tough guy, perhaps more study could have been done. Perhaps he can stop pushing the bs fraud narrative that has yet to be substantiated. On the opposite end of that, don't use my black as a tool for this bs outrage either. DO SOMETHING MEANINGFUL to help.
For you Sturg...I'll let you know. I lean more on the I'm not turning the other cheek. I served my country, I'm a decent citizen and I rose from a $10 an hour job to six figures. The man didn't stop that. I'm a free thinker but I know MY history. Not the MLK one they wanted me to know only.
You'll forgive me if kneeling didn't bother me any more than fake Patriots who love this country but hate minorities who...participated in helping to build said country. When in doubt I vote for the person that hates my skin less. But I also look at the issues affecting me and mine.
Nevermind. This got too long. My bad.
