Fernando Tatis, Jr. diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder and will be out for awhile. Saw some twitter handle with MD beside it suggest that surgery to repair torn labrum would be likely. 4-6 months.

Just what you want with the guy you just gave a lifetime contract at market rates well before you had to. Persistent shoulder problems.

Conforto put his arm directly into the line of a strike to win against the Marlins. Absolutely ridiculous that you reward that trash with a HBP.

Sorta like the insanity of Justin Turner putting his foot in front of that pitch in the LCS last year.

How do umps get **** so wrong? Has to be on purpose.

I had heard that his shoulder was bothering him previously, so it's not surprising that the comprimised joint dislocated with that wild swing. Seems like something in there needs to get tightened up.

The ****ed up part about it is that the ump initially started calling strike 3, because it was obviously in the strike zone. Umm, regardless if he tried to get out of the way or not, pretty sure his body can’t just be out in the middle of the strike zone. So, why did he change his call? I don’t see anyone talking about this.

I loved how upset the Mets announcers were though. They’re the best in the business.

I'm just sick of the umpiring we are seeing across the league. Can't be having games at this level decided like that.

This was my thought watching it too. Ump rang him up before changing to hit by pitch. I don’t care if you had a stroke and fell over while the pitch was coming. If you get hit by a strike then you are out.

I havent been paying much attention can someone tell me why Kyle Wright still isnt good enough to make our rotation this year?

Baseballs thrown by Bauer in Wednesday's game are being investigating for having unusual marks and a tackiness not normally found on used baseballs.

Throw him under the bus for the stink he helped create. Always been a douche. And check out Lucas Sims too since he magically gained like 500 rpm in one off-season once Bauer arrived.

What would be the penalty? Game or 2 suspension and high scrutiny going forward?

Pineda got 10 games for getting caught with pine tar, but that was before all this Astros mess. They could look to make an example out of him, though the optics would look bad with them laying the hammer down on him while the Astros got off scot-free. Still, I think MLB will try like hell to wash the stink of cheating off the league, and will look to be more harsh on punishments like this going forward.

Braves have acquired Edgar Santana from the Pirates for cash considerations. The was decent in 2017-2018 before having Tommy John Surgery in October 2018. Missed all of 2019, and then was suspended for PEDs, missing all of 2020. Still suspended for 20 games this season.

Real difference maker here.

Reaction to Soroka being sidelined for 2 more weeks??

Twitter was all over this aspect. I saw many posts about how the ump didn't even know the rules.

Just bad all around. Also, agree about the Mets booth.

Watch him pitch and you'll see.

I'd much rather see Wilson or Ynoa than Wright, Newk or Touki. Thankfully, I think the Braves agree.
