The Coronavirus, not the beer

Zito will tell me its too cold in California.

Or that it's more densely populated.

Or that Florida's old age is actually an advantage.

The only thing we know for sure, is that lockdowns and masks work!!

How many people live in LA County? How many people live in Florida? Here's a hint, LA County is basically NJ,it has half the population of Florida in 1/13th of the area. So yeah population density matters.

Also interesting this person used deaths, when we know florida is underreporting deaths. We'll find out the number later.

Care to talk about cases? Cali on March 15th had a 7 day average of 3202, last report was 2672, same frame, Florida 4475 and 5489

Guys, I don't care if you like Fauci or hate him. I don't care if you like masks or think they're awful. Go get your vaccine of you're able.

I'd you're concerned about it, go read up on mRNA vaccines. They're brilliant. You'll see why this has so much potential.

Get your vaccine.

Ontario goes into strict lockdown. You can go into a store but can’t buy certain things.

Can buy plants.

Cannot buy school supplies or kids clothing.

Bat **** crazy man

The supply we need is right in front of us. We need only to adopt the sensible, evidence-based policy used in the United Kingdom: Vaccinate as many people as possible with just one dose,by delaying the second dose of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Having adopted this strategy, the U.K. has vaccinated 46% of the population and effectively avoided a second surge of the highly contagious B.1.1.7 variant. This is the same strain that is spreading through Michigan, Minnesota and other surging states.

Drug manufacturers selected the three- or four-week interval currently used between doses to rapidly prove efficacy in clinical trials. They did not choose such short intervals based on the optimal way of using the vaccines to quell a pandemic. While a three- or four-week follow-up is safe and effective, there is no evidence it optimizes either individual benefit or population protection.

A single dose of an mRNA vaccine is 80% effective and durable for 12 weeks. Two doses are about 90% effective. In the battle against the surge, a first dose provides eight times more benefit than the incremental increase in protection achieved by using that dose for a second shot.

This. I wish the time and attention the media wastes on scolding kids enjoying spring break or governors lifting mandates would be redirected to topics like the above.

Agreed.

But we don't do science or logic based policies anymore.

Plus, many in our government wants this to last as long as humanly possible

"we know Florida is underreporting deaths" says the incredibly low iq., uninformed blueanon conspiracy theorist

Just wait until the excess death numbers come out.

What's the adage, you only find trouble if you look for it. Well it's kind of similar with COVID cases and deaths. We'll see where their excess deaths stack compared to other states, my guess is it's not that far off.

Agree about only finding issues when you look.

Couldn’t agree more.
