Oh yeah....Just means he is 121% worse than the average hitter.
His xWOBA is in the bottom 5% of the league. EV in the bottom 8%. It's tough to watch.

Defensive metrics haven't acquired enough data to be posted yet, but it should be an open question whether Pache is contributing enough with his glove to merit learning on-the-job at the plate. As not-over-matched as he looked, in a very small sample, during the actual World Series last season, he's looked equally as brutal in the PAs I've seen so far this season.

Riley (along with Albies, d'Arnaud, and Freeman) is in the "top" thirty of BA under-performance relative to xBA, so I'm strangely less worried about him.
Swanson and Pache have both just been bad, with way too many whiffs from Swanson and really poor quality-of-contact for Pache.
In Pache's favor, however, is the fact that Inciarte would probably produce even worse quality-of-contact?

To be fair, they just as good as our cleanup hitter right now. Maybe these 4 will warm up when others hit the skids.
