Around the League - 2021 Szn

I won a lot of $$$ when he won Rookie Of The Year.

You also said he'd have more WAR in 2020 than Anderson and Wentz would have their entire careers put together or something like that.

Buxton was a create a player in HS. Five tool stud from the get go.

He's had so many setbacks and injuries, it would be fools gold to chase now. He's always had it in there though.

Funny to see Buxton discounted given all the injuries he's had to deal with over the years.

Would someone explain to that idiot that Buxton was the #1 prospect in the game the same number of times Acuna was?

Yeah, I’m very aware. And that is irrelevant. Kind of like the long-winded drivel you post about everything.

Congrats on managing to post something under 500 words, btw.

Cubs BP coach tests positive for Covid. Three relievers have been placed on Covid IL.

Might effect the up coming series after we're done with Fish.

I get to see a lot of Buxton up here in the tundra. Tremendous tools. It started to come together for him in 2019 and although he's on a small sample tear, he does look like he is becoming the hitter that most hoped he would eventually become. He is unbelievably fast. He's a great defensive player largely because of his top-end speed, but he really lacks awareness in the outfield and is constantly banging into the fence, which has put him on the IL more than once. Injuries/illnesses of all sorts have been his biggest problem.
