Rethinking law breaking

there will and has been crime forever.
How do we deal with it ?

The old way doesnt work.
No matter what ever justification you tag on

It isnt working and hasnt been working for a long time

The real question you should be asking is why criminality is increasing in areas where your policies are the law of the land.

By policing areas proportionally with the amount of crime in the area, arresting and penalizing criminals, and not using deadly force unless it's necessary for the safety of the officers, victims, or bystanders. And not by making excuses for criminals or their actions.

proportionately ?
I think I know what you mean, but not sure.

and which if any of the methods established in the 1930's and later refined by Middle Eastern War weapons and experiences would you keep and which would you discard ?

Adam Toledo had no gun in his hand. He put his hands up and was

shot immediately after doing what he was told.

13 years old.

History has informed me to wait at least 24 hours till I even feel comfortable I’m getting a part of the truth.

If the police did in fact kill this boy despite his compliance I hope they go to jail forever.

Let’s see what happens when the evidence comes out.

No but it does happen. Even seen a cop acquitted of shooting an unarmed fully complying black man who wasnt even the "suspect"

Oh I have no doubt corruption exists. I just don’t think it’s at the level where you burn it to the ground.

It is the phucking police body cam

Let’s see the full footage from beginning to end.

If the police officers gunned this kid down despite cooperation they deserve to go to jail.

The times article you listed says the suspect was reported to have a gun. The mayor did not deny this but simply said you couldn’t see it on the body cam footage.

She must have watched the CBS footage.

The only question that won’t be asked for the next few weeks is why does a 13 year old have a gun?

Somehow this will be a policing problem.

Tragic what is happening with our inner city minority youth under full Democrat control.

The mother reported the boy doesn’t stay at home all the time right? Where did this parenting go wrong?

Take policing completely out of the picture here. Whatever you think of this incident. This young man was going down a path that would lead to his untimely demise. That is what needs to be solved. Not whether or not a policeman made the right decision in a split second.

I was frequently squirrel hunting by myself when I was younger than that, so in the right circumstances I don't have a problem with his age. And these days I'm wearing a gun anytime I'm wearing clothes, so I certainly can't fault him for wanting one while on the streets of Chicago.

It just comes down to the same thing, when the cops roll up your hands go up. If that happened here then the cops are at fault. That the media already feels it necessary to manipulate the footage makes me skeptical that's the case, but if the kid acted right then the cops didn't.

The problem is he was caught up with someone who was just shooting at a random car at 2AM.

Why is this is happening? How do we end the cycle?

Making the focus on policing does nothing to address this.

yikes. accomplice to attempted murder makes this a whole different case one would think?

He's still innocent til a jury trial, but the approach to the suspect is quite different.

From the policing angle I’m just not sure what a person with a family is supposed to do in that situation. Is the officer supposed to trust that he is not about to get shot when the area is known for gangbanging?

That’s why having any conversation about policing is meant as a diversion for the minority communities to not ask why are democrat policies making things exponentially worse.

Amash is a good principled guy but he did get a minor case of TDS which has altered his strategy of being effective

I’m not sure you can call Amash’s opposition to Trump TDS. He just has a very clear set of principles regarding governance and Trump ran afoul of them. He still voted in the same manner he always has.
