He's so far off the plate that I find it hard to believe that he can reach pitches on the outside corner without lunging and lunging is what got him hit in the head all those years ago.
Was never quite the same at the same after getting hit in the face. One of those guys I hated to see go, but understood we just couldn’t afford him. Never would have thought he would tank.

I can’t believe a guy with his talent hasn’t had his entire batting stance and swing rebuilt. It would be one thing if he was an average hitter with the rest of his game. But not even being able to crack a .700 OPS every year just isn’t acceptable. A change should have been attempted a long time ago.
I would guess that every single coach he’s ever had has asked him.
