Black Lives Matter...

His truth is not mine. Perhaps it's his ivory tower and he sarcastically does it. If he helps enlighten you that's fine.

Ivory? Is that a dog whistle? Nah, I know what you mean but if I thought like you I would be angry.

That's cool that his truth isn't yours. Calling him names because his opinion is different isn't. Playing that race card **** is stupid.

Yes. Your word choices reveal a lot. You’re manipulated. I wish it weren’t the case.

Until this breaks we will always have a racial divide in this country with black people suffering the most.

But sharpton and Joy Reid are rich of the grift so I doubt it stops.
Your words do the same. Lmao..I'm not manipulated by anything except how I feel. I don't particularly care whether you call it left or not. I know what's right for me and what I think are important. If that makes me left so be it.

First of all I didn't call him a racist. Even if I feel it. Pay attention. He and I have definitely not agreed on much of anything but I didn't call him a racist. And yes. I'm angry. Not at whitey. As again..I've not said anything about racism. I said it exists and there are factions where it is blatantly obvious.

There was a recent blogger who went to Minneapolis and asked black people how many unarmed black people were killed every year.

The answers ranged from thousands to 50 thousan to hundreds of thousands.

I believe the correct answer was like 19.

Just pure propaganda to enrage people

Those who benefit from the racial divide do not want the problems solved. That’s why propaganda like that is pushed.

I'm sure of that. But I initially came back to see what the responses were to the Chauvin case. It was as I suspected.

I only thing accurate no matter where you stand :the media is a bytch!

We would save more black people if we taught them to never resist arrest.

We would save more black people if we pushed traditional family values.

We would save more black people if we had less immigration.

Those are real solutions. Those in power want nothing of that though.

Blacks aren't the only ones who resist arrest. Bad take there. The 200 or more black people I know would never resist arrest. Is there a statistic that shows how many blacks resist vs anyone else? Nevermind..I'll get the info.

Agree with family values. That should be priority one. I'm onboard with you there.

Didn't you say your dad was an immigrant? What measures do you propose that would save black lives in relations to immigrants?

I have no sympathy for any person that resists arrest in a violent dangerous manner. Color is irrelevant to me.

The flow of illegal immigrants into this country has destroyed job opportunities for minority American citizens. With a good paying job you end the cycle of crime and poverty.

Deester, thanks for coming over here with some common sense and rational thought.

It’s needed around here of late.
Thanks a lot TAP. I feel like Cleavon Little in Blazing Saddles though. I am not trying to really convey one way or the other but my perspective as someone who's been on the lower end of blackness to the well to do blackness is my own.

My anger is not understanding why things can't just be equal and normal. From my mother drinking out of separate water fountains to teaching us to never hate I couldn't understand it. My anger was so bad I wanted to snuff out racism all by myself. In the military in Virginia Beach I jumped in the back of a pickup truck with about 10 Klan members and just fought. I was stupid but I thought I was standing up for blacks.

The person who helped me most in life was a white Man. To this day, the greatest man next to my dad I've ever known. He took that temper and worked with me. Taught me to think before reacting. Guess you can't tell here.

Ok. Too long. I just don't understand the hatred and stupid stuff. So if I come off as aggressive, there are deep rooted things but I try to learn too. I'm open to it always.

Your mother sounded like a great person.

Happy you had such great role models in your life.

So i just did some research with a law enforcement official. There are not definitive ratios between blacks resisting arrest vs whites or any other color. This is a subjective thing, but the premise that's more important is resisting arrest is stupid no matter the race.

I've heard the immigrant job taking thing for some time now (Since high school), but I don't agree that in itself it destroys blacks ability to get jobs. Now, if you're talking lower level (day laborers, construction, etc), there is a tinge of truth to that perhaps, but i'd have to have numbers to prove that. i've taken the same diversity in the workplace training for 24 years and it's same thing. Lower levels of jobs have plenty of minority workers, men and women, POC. As you go up, the bar lessens...meaning less minorities. But the opportunities are still there. I don't believe immigrants affect higher levels of earning. (I could be wrong).

It’s a straightforward supply and demand problem. Flood the market with low skilled labor and not only will there be less available jobs but the jobs will be lower paying.

Agreed on the lack of representation in higher level jobs. That can only be solved generationally with school choice and traditional family values. No amount of affirmative action will solve that issue.

Affirmative Action? I've been over that since it was in place. It's about as effective as the minority coaching hires in football. LOL

You may not like his way of saying it, or mine, but if everyone believed blacks are as capable as thethe then we would have a lot less racial strife and blacks would be much closer to achieving equal outcomes. I'm sure the frustration with that poisons the way we say things as much as frustration poisons the words of some coming at the problem from the opposite direction.

I think both of us want Americans to be treated as Americans, not as hyphens and not with special privileges or leniency or advantages given to anyone because of the color of their skin. As long as people encourage that, racism will thrive.

I think I've told you before, but I wish you spent more time over here. Your perspective is refreshing.
