Is Free Speech Under Attack in this Country?

The hilarious thing is that Fox would have you believe he was wrongly suspended for making what seems to be a factual statement. In fact, he was telling someone who literally had just given birth that they can't get pregnant just to harass them.

Count me in for a 12-hour ban to any politician who decides to get on Twitter and harass a new parent about the birth of their child. Also, count me in if we can figure out how to stop Fox News from creating a headline that ignores the actual story knowing that their readers only read headlines and they can use it to feed the culture war.

My mistake for the lack of clarity- Ruben Castro is a man.

Politicians who decide to bully citizens online should be punished for it appropriately. That isn't a free speech issue.

Nunes with help from Barr tried to unmask a Twitter user because that person made fun if Nunes. Twitter rightfully told them where to stick their subpoena.

The Supreme Court has ruled parody to be a form of free speech. Seems to me Nunes was afraid of being parodied and Barr was only too happy to try to help him attack the parody account and the person behind it. An example of a state-sponsored attack on freedom of expression. In our country. By our government.

Not the only one in 2020. We also had this lest anyone forget.

Also... and this has to keep being said apparently... the left has pushed and pushed and pushed. The inevitable reaction will be an aggressive push back. It should never have had to come to that but don't act surprised that it does.
