I tend to agree but the Mets will easily be the best team in the division once/if they get healthy.

If police saw him do the things they claim, he’s probably done in Atlanta. There will be no appetite from either side to fight whatever manfred decides, and it will be at least a full year suspension. Considering guys got 80+ games after not even being convicted, Ozuna will probably be made an example.
The sooner the Braves can get him suspended without pay, the sooner they can work on replacing him on the roster.
I mean, I’m not as tough as jdweeb, but even I know tough guys don’t strangle women. Well, maybe the fake internet ones like jdweeb do, buy you’d have to check with him.

If Sam Dyson got suspended a whole year for a pattern of verbal and emotional abuse without charges being filed, I can't see how Ozuna isn't done for the remainder of this year and all of 2022. And even if he's reinstated, I find it difficult to believe anyone will want him. Of course, we have to wait to see how it plays out in court, but sports leagues can take their own action even if the courts find no fault and I can't imagine MLB not dishing out a severe suspension in this case.

Agree. Earlier I read the Georgia law as it applies to this case and IMO, if the judge applies the law he will not get probation and regardless IMO he will be banned from baseball for life if I understand everything so far.

I wonder how common that is from state-to-state. I'll have to check what it is in Minnesota. There are probably instances here where the victim doesn't need to cooperate for charges to be filed, but it seems like a blanket policy in Georgia.
