I wonder if the way defenses are shifting him both in the infield and outfield could possibly be taking this many hits away. It obviously makes a bit of a difference, but surely not this much?

Some of it is the shift. Bad luck just happens too. A combination of the two gets you this season so far for Freddie.

Corbin facing Acuna a 3rd time at 60 pitches was an acceptable move. Allowing him to then face Freeman with the platoon advantage was also fine.

Letting Corbin face Albies/Riley/Swanson was less fine...
