The Biden Presidency

The whole system needs cleansing and when we have sweepi victories in 22/24 it will be. Our republic is dirty.

Screw that American citizen. Let’s the NSA spy on him.

You’re a ****ing joke. How can we get rid of people like you?

We still think throwing money at things makes them better ?

Sheesh.

Thanks for agreeing with me. We should be defunding police until they get their act together not giving them more funding. I was told by a very stable genius there wouldnt be any police in Joe Biden's America.

Throwing money at something isn’t the same as paying officers to do a job.

How anyone can support defunding the police now is beyond me. What is wrong with these people?

You are cheering on the senseless deaths of minorities all over the nation. Who are the real racists?

Any republican or centrist needs to start paying attention. These people are pure evil and care nothing about America.

We must endlessly call them out for this and destroy them in 22. First it’s tucker. Then it’s you.

Let me throw you a curve ball. Defund the police is a stupid political strategy. That's why they made sure Biden won because he has the greatest pro police record of any politician I know of. I do support funding for police. In fact I want to greatly increase funding for law enforcement. I want a full time national police force that conducts undercover operations to ensure cops are not using their authority to commit crimes or are violating civil rights. We could severly reduce police corruption with proactive investigations instead of reactive investigations. The most dangerous criminal is one with a badge. The government owes us at the very minimum to ensure that we arent victimized by police. That should be priority one before we even get to stopping other crime. So I would gladly pay double or triple the taxes if we could get proactive investigations of police. I am tired of hearing about 10-30 year reigns of terror on communities before being caught.

This makes a lot of sense, and I would agree. The biggest flaw with 'defund the police' was always the slogan, not the intent. I am all for expanding police budgets if that money is contingent on weeding out corruption and ensuring police are held accountable for their actions. They could certainly use more money to expand services around mental health, enhance training for officers, etc. Now if we are increasing police budgets so that we can simply hire more officers and buy them better guns without changing anything else...count me out.

Good. I am generally in favor of the death penalty but I dont have faith criminal justice system. Imo if the person is exonerated after death the judge and prosecutors should be held accountable. If there were consequences for executing innocent people I guarantee it would only be used in appropriate cases. Any misconduct such as a Brady violation leading to an innocent person bring executed should 100% be treated as murder.

Finally a good jobs number... Which just so happens to coincide with some (red) states ending the ridiculous enhanced unemployment benefits.

Still, unemployment increased overall, though... Which is just crazy considering we are in a massive recovery

Like most things, there is a whole lot more nuance than just 'red states created more job growth by ending benefits', but I'm confident that will be overlooked. The real answer is that we have no idea what impact ending those benefits had yet, and anyone claiming otherwise is just trying to score political points per usual.

Also, yes, it does seem like inflation will be transitory as expected and projected.

Inflation is only two percent as long as you don't look at things that Americans buy and need to survive
