Reports: Marcell Ozuna Arrested For Domestic Battery

Cops filed felony charges according to Georgia law. IIRC they are in the process of divorce which the wife filed. Outcome of trial will have little to do with how long restriction/suspension will be unless there is jail time the outcome of trial. If jailed for even as little as 6 months it is likely that he will be deported. Only saving grace to deportation is that his children were born in USA. Braves are likely wishing for a sentence according to Georgia law which I think is years and not months minimum,

I think there's like a 0.5% chance ozuna is actually sentenced to any jail time

I have seen it in real time. I am not saying they stay because they like I am saying they stay because they enjoy the financial benefits of the relationship. Which negates all sympathy I have for them. If she left and is cooperating with the investigation so he can be held legally responsible then I support that. If she isnt then clearly it aint that big of a deal to her.

You are quite possibly right tho is is worth pondering on what is going on with the Braves legal team. Since the charges occurred in Georgia and costing Liberty Media money you have to think it is not only the local prosecutors who are working to convict but LMs legal team is at work as well.

The other way how? IMO the Braves and LM have seen enough of Ozuna and his price tag. MLB now has to deal with Bauer as well as Ozuna. The best outcome I can see for Braves, MLB, Ozuna and his family such as it is, would be if he surrendered his work permit in a plea deal and went back to the Dominican and lived off the millions already earned. What I project is that these latest (Ozuna and Bauer) will play a big role in the upcoming CBA simply because of the black eye it is giving both sides of the fence and the high dollars owners are seeing down the drain.

Honestly, all Ozuna has to do is cry racism. Hopefully, one of the cops was white and not only will everything be dropped, but peeps in the Atlanta area will be able to get some new flatscreen TVs from nearby Targets right in time for the heart of summer.

Good eyes. Im taking black eyed peas off my menu. No more black eyed Susans for my wife. BTW I already prohibited her from wearing black eye make-up. We are moving to Minneapolis or Portland as soon as we sell our local home. Any chance you and I will be neighbors?

Canadian culture varies depending what part of the country you are.

Montreal/Quebec is an entirely different animal than the rest of Canada. Toronto is different than Winnepeg or Calgary. Same as Vancouver.

There are some things in Canadian culture that they've adopted from America.
