GDT 7-6 Ian on the hump

We are onto some truly groundbreaking work here guys. Just hire a coach that tells Swanson to hit fastballs hard.

Boom, offensive problems solved.

Swanson doesn't have the talent to be consistent. Coaching won't do ****.

Untrue. I literally just read on a message board from someone spouting old cliches that all they need to do is tell him hit fastballs hard.

It couldn’t be more simple than that.

I just want to know why we need so many to not make any difference when all we need is one who can’t control how these guys hit.

How do you shift vs Frazier? I can't believe we're this dumb

I’ll help you understand

See all those dots on the right side? Those are his hits, meaning that’s where he hits the ball when he hits it on the ground. Typically, you want your defenders to be where the guy is most likely to hit the ball. In baseball, that’s the best way to get outs. Outs are important because teams only get 3 per inning, so you want to get them to prevent them from scoring these things called runs. The reason you want to limit runs is because the team that score the most runs wins the game.
