Minter To AAA

I assume newcomb gets another shot. I'd make these 2 moves also...

Demeritte for Arcia
Camargo for panda (DFA)

Yes, it was always wishing on a star. I don't want demeritte for more than a week. I want a real hitter, and neither of these two are that guy. Can't have an OF of heredia and Arcia esp when joc is facing lhp
 
Arcia isn’t a starter, as all of the intelligent people here knew from day 1. You don’t need to throw the baby out with the bath water though. He’s a solid bench piece. Much better than Camargo or Demeritte.

Yeah, we arguing over 3 bad pieces. I would love to get a marte duvall package, and cy can have Arcia on the bench

ETA... and I have no real issue with Arcia other than he's playing a hitter's position, and he isn't a hitter. It's not his fault...

Camargo isn't good, but he's better than panda bc he can hit lhp a little and play in the field. Almonte fills panda's spot vs rhp, and can play a position or 2.

Demeritte is just wishful thinking... hoping he is hot at start till we get a real option

There’s something funny about this. Minter is bad enough to get sent to AAA, but good enough to pitch the 7th inning in a high leverage situation. Meanwhile, Matzek is bad enough to only pitch in blowouts, but good enough to stay on the roster.

Does matzek have options? This team has been run like a circus most of the year, so not surprising

This is a Snitker problem IMO - not a Pitcher performance problem. There's absolutely no rhyme or reason to how and when he uses these guys, so it's all but impossible for them to prepare consistently and feel comfortable in any particular role. At this point we've seen EVERYBODY used in high-leverage as well as in blowouts. Nobody down there knows who the phone is ringing for in any given situation and that's on Snitker much more than Kranitz. Although part of Kranitz' job is to say these kinds of things to Snit, the only way I think you can hang any of this on him is if he simply isn't telling him how bad he's butchering things.

Ummm... what?

Demerrite and Camargo should never see the majors again, for any team. Arcia needs to be here, he just doesn't need to be starting. I'm fine with dumping Panda. But not for Camargo. The recently DFA'd Billy McKinney would be a better option if we were going to replace Panda.
