Fire is a completely natural part of a landscape lifecycle and is completely necessary for all areas to be reborn with new growth.
You also realize that heavy machinery pushes (sweeps?!) burn piles up for easy containment and monitoring? These big doziers and excavators pile up stuff that burns to the bare dirt so fire can’t spread on the ground.

A mild case is like a flu. A bad case is very serious. I hope Bedell and his folk are okay.
My sister's husband is now sick with Covid. He chose not to get vaccinated but now wants to.
