The Nets are in cap hell forever and have no picks till 2059.....him being rich means little....unless you think taking on bad contracts is going to win you a ring.

I wouldn't call 2-3 years cap hell. Plumlee looks like a solid NBA pro and they have that international prospect bogdonovich that everyone seems to love.

Biggest problem is that Lopez will never be healthy. But, they just watned to be good when they came to BK to energize the fanbase and they have for the most part done that. A 1 or 2 year lull won't be the worst thing.

Nets should still be a playoff team next year in the horrible east. The 2015/16 season might be a rough one for sure.

But, you never know in this league. Plumlee/Telenovich/Bogdonovich could become very productive.
 
BRule, what do u think of the rumor Fidola sp? broke out at the ASG.

If Bosh/LBJ/Wade all sign for 14 mil or less, Melo would join?

Scary thought.

Looks like.

Jeff Green/Rondo for Parsons, Lin, Asik and picks i would assume.

Not sure why they'd trade Parsons, he's a good fit in their offense imo.
 
That would be a dumb trade.

Rondo hasnt looked right since he's came back, and there's like 25 games or so until the playoffs.
 
Nothing wrong with getting Rondo but Houston already has defensive issues and they are taking basically there best perimeter defender out of the equation.

To be fair, Rondo can guard pretty much any wing that Parsons can....outside of some stretch 4s

If this happens, who would guard KD on Houston?

Garcia, Harden, Rondo?

Not saying Parsons is Scottie Pippen but he's a decent defender with some length, i think he's 6-8 or 6-9.

Who, outside of Bron, can guard KD? It's not about stopping him.

Cass and Garcia have the same DRatings as Parsons so it's not a drop on D....obviously is on O.
