FOs don't pay their data analysts enough to give up my current gig. And I assure you with 100% certainty the analysts in the Braves FO didn't want Muller pitching right there. It was objectively the wrong move, and Snit makes the wrong move routinely. We are lucky it worked out this time.

Maybe not. They likely were not too wild about Jackson or Martin either, though.

We also have another game to play tonight and a lesser starting pitcher going.

I seem to recall that Loup hit a Brave with a pitch and broke their hand when he pitched for Toronto. Anyone else recall that?

EDIT: Looked it up and Aaron Loup did indeed hit Freddie Freeman with a pitch in 2017 while pitching for the Blue Jays and broke Freeman's wrist.
