Guar-dians. Essentially removing "In" and replacing it with Guar. So not really random. But as stated, Cleveland Rocks (or Rockers) would have been a cooler moniker

I think I rather refer to them as the Cleveland Steamers. Absolutely refuse to acknowledge the absurdity of their name change. If you want to change names go to a different city imo or atleast give us name like Washington football Team that is hilarious.

Why should they go to a different city? Though don't tempt their owners, they may consider it.

THey've been in the process of distancing themselves from the Indians name for a long time, their Logo changed in 2014 which means they've probably been working towards this for a decade or so.

Though I would like Cleveland Baseball Team. I would be down with that. Mascots are just kind of dumb anyway. Consider baseball team names.

LA Dodgers - Used to mean something, now it means nothing

The idea of mascots are just kind of lame. I get it from a marketing stand point, but it's pretty lame.

If it means anything, I just checked and Freeman is still following Ozuna on Instagram. I think it was previously reported that most Dodgers players had unfollowed Bauer almost immediately after the incident went down.

Yeah. Not that instagram follows really mean anything.

I'm still naively holding out hope that Ozuna is telling the truth and he has proof to prove his innocence, whatever that means. Also wouldn't be the first time cops get things wrong. So we will see there. Seems to be more "proof" against what Bauer did. Whatever happens hopefully justice actually prevails in both cases.
